THE WINNING LOGO
After a long discussion by the judges, the logo shown here was announced as the winning logo. The prize of 50 euros will be presented to the winner (a German student) when I visit the Otto-Hahn Gymnasium from 19-26 June.
The logo will be used in the web site and for printing on to items such as headed notepaper, baseball caps or t-shirts.
Congratulations to the winner and to the Art teachers who led the students in this activity.

The students in the partner schools were invited to design a logo to capture the spirit of the Comenius project's aim of partnership, friendship, mutual understanding and awareness through the use of ICT.
The logos below are the finalists for the competition and it must be mentioned that the Otto-Hahn Gymnasium form Ostfildern, Germany has over 70 entries, 8 of which are shown below.
The winner of the 50 Euros prize will be announced on Wednesday 4 June and a presentation made at the earliest opportunity after that. There will be 4 judges (all of the Art Teachers at Peebles High School) who are not familiar with the origin of any of the entries.
I wish to congratulate all the entrants for the wonderful variety and creativity of their work and thank everyone who participated.
George Davidson, Comenius Co-ordinator, Peebles - Scotland
